iPad is not as large or heavy as a laptop, making it great for traveling, and its screen is bigger than a smartphone, making MS Office easier to use. The below list was put together to help you get the most out of your iPad. Here are 8 of our favourite iPad tips inspired by TechRadar.

  1. Establish a VPN Connection

Your iPad can connect to a virtual private network if you have one. Simply go to Settings > General > VPN and fill in the appropriate information. Unlike VPN programs, which may only protect data within particular apps, this setting provides security throughout the entire system.

2. Set Up Text Shortcuts

You can set up Text Replacement in Settings > General > Keyboards if you frequently type the same blocks of text.

3. Take a Screenshot

If you push the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously (or the Power and Volume Up buttons if you don’t have a Home button), you’ll hear a click. The snapshot is saved to your Photos library automatically, but a thumbnail appears on the screen for a moment: tap on it to alter it before saving or sharing it.

5. Multitask Using Gestures

In iPadOS, there are numerous motions. Pinch with four fingers to see all the running apps; slide sideways with the same fingers to move between active apps. If you find yourself accidentally triggering these, go to Settings > General > Multitasking and turn them off.

6. Use AirPrint

If you have an AirPrint printer, printing wirelessly is simple. Simply hit the Share option in your app and select Print, provided that your printer and iPad are both connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Your iPad should locate the printer on its own.

7. Take a Panoramic Photo

Panoramas are not exclusive to iPhones. You may use your iPad to make a large panoramic photo by selecting the Pano option in the camera app.

8. Give Siri an Accent

If you don’t want to, you don’t have to use Siri’s default voice. Depending on where you live, you can choose from a variety of male and female voices with American, Indian, Irish, South African, Australian, or British accents. Settings > Siri & Search has all the options.
